NVIDIA Opens DSX Ready Qualification for AI Factory Power and Cooling Products
NVIDIA DSX Ready begins with battery storage and cooling distribution products, giving AI factory builders a product-level route from reference design to lower integration risk—without replacing site engineering.

NVIDIA has launched NVIDIA DSX Ready, a qualification program for partner products designed to meet applicable requirements in NVIDIA DSX AI factory reference designs. The initial scope covers battery energy storage systems (BESS) and cooling distribution units (CDUs).
Initial qualified BESS offerings come from Hitachi Energy, LG Energy Solution and Tesla. Qualified CDU offerings are from LG Electronics, LiquidStack and Vertiv. Providers complete category-specific testing and submit supporting data for NVIDIA review, or use the applicable CDU self-qualification suite.
The program links individual products to the wider DSX platform, which treats compute, networking, power, cooling, facilities and software as one operating system. That system view helps reveal bottlenecks created when one subsystem is optimized independently.
Why it matters for GPU / AI infrastructure
For AI factory buyers, DSX Ready provides a clearer shortlist for two infrastructure areas that affect deployment feasibility and GPU utilization. Passing qualification does not establish site-level stability or replace engineering for the facility, grid connection, water system, layout and operating configuration.
