Discord Rolls Out Clean Markdown Previews for Developers
Discord’s latest update renders Markdown files with proper formatting, aiding teams that share AI project documentation.

Discord has shipped an update that finally renders uploaded .md files as formatted documents instead of raw markup. Tables, headings, code blocks and lists now appear exactly as they would in a dedicated viewer.
The change removes the “bunch of symbols” that previously cluttered previews, making it practical to drop a README, a model‑card, or a prompt‑engineering guide directly into a channel.
Why it matters for GPU / AI infrastructure
AI teams frequently exchange Markdown artifacts — experiment logs, dataset descriptions, deployment checklists — while provisioning GPU clusters. Clean previews cut the friction of opening external tools, keeping context inside the collaboration hub where infrastructure decisions are made.
Combined with the new “Move to…” sidebar action and a 1 GB upload limit for Nitro members, the update strengthens Discord as a lightweight ops channel for model training pipelines and hardware coordination.
