ChatGPT gains interactive visuals with GPT‑6
OpenAI has rolled out an "Intelligent UI" update for ChatGPT that lets the model embed pictures, charts, forms and tappable buttons directly inside its replies. The feature ships together with the newly released GPT‑6 family, which decides when a visual answer is more useful than plain text.
In a demo, asking about a seven‑speed bicycle returns a diagram where each component can be highlighted with a button. Other examples include a scrollable set of Mahjong tiles, a retirement‑savings calculator and a simple game splitter, all rendered inline without leaving the chat window.
OpenAI says GPT‑6 also improves web‑search speed, delivers partial answers while fetching data, and shows greater resistance to jailbreak attempts. The Sol variant powers Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise tiers, while the Luna variant serves the free and Go tiers.
Why it matters for GPU / AI infrastructure: richer multimodal outputs increase the demand for inference servers that can handle mixed text‑image workloads, highlighting the value of GPU‑accelerated pipelines for real‑time rendering and interactive content.
